'Private George William Charles RUSSELL, L/11325, 6th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment.

Born 18th June 1898, Plumstead, Woolwich, Kent, enlisted Woolwich, Kent, 27th June 1916, age 18, height 5ft 3½ inches, weight 112lbs, resided Charlesfield Road, Horley, Surrey. Formerly munitions worker.

Son of Alice Jane Russell, Charlesfield Road, Horley, Surrey.

Home, 27th June 1916 to 25th September 1917; BEF, 26th September 1917 to 7th October 1918; Home, 8th October 1918 to 14th September 1919.
