Furniture, Clocks and Barometers
Around 200 lots of furniture are sold every week at McTear's. Weekly Vintage & Modern
sales will comprise of mainly 19th/20th century examples, including bookcases, cabinets,
bedroom and dining suites, sideboards, chairs and a wide range of occasional furniture
with lot values generally from £20 up to £1000. The finer examples of furniture will, as
with other categories, be included in Art & Antiques auction sales held every month. These
sales will include examples of furniture from the 18th to 20th centuries and with lot
values from under £100 up to several thousands of pounds.
