The department handles jewellery of all types, from Georgian gems to contemporary costume; diamond, emerald, ruby, sapphire and gem rings, bracelets and necklaces, along with pearls, agates, and jade.

McTear’s Jewellery Evening auctions attract audiences from all over the world. They are held every five weeks. These auctions are supplemented by Important Jewels, twice a year. In addition regular specialist auctions of Scottish Jewellery and Vintage Accessories feature throughout the year.
