THE ROYAL & ANCIENT-28 YEAR-OLD“MILLENNIUM BLEND”
The Royal & Ancient-28 year-old is a blend of 54% Malt including Smith's Glenlivet, Longmorn, The Macallan and 46% North British Grain. The various whiskies were distilled between April 1969 and August 1970, they were blended in 1975. A limited edition of 300 cases were bottled in 1999
21 The Royal & Ancient Millennium Blend-28 year-old In the Summer of 1970, Cockburn & Campbell acquired nine hogsheads of the finest malt whisky from the two celebrated Speyside Distilleries mentioned above. These were subsequently blended with the triple gold medal winning blend, The Royal and Ancient and left to mature gently in casks. The total yield was 300 cases, released to celebrate the new Millennium, a fine 28 year old blend that contains over 50% single malt.
