A stellar WWI Military Cross medal group was the first and foremost lot in our dedicated Militaria Auction, selling for a noteworthy £3,600.

Eastern weaponry also performed strongly, with a bone handled sword and an Indian Ram Dao achieving £500 and £95 respectively.

Further to this, gun cases permeated the sale, with the top selling piece being a shotgun case by esteemed maker James Purdey & Sons, hammered down at £220.

Entries are invited for the next auction taking place 27 April. For a complimentary, no-obligation valuation, make an appointment to visit our Glasgow Galleries, or contact our specialists by clicking this link and completing the short form.
