The Antiques & Interiors Auction

The Antiques & Interiors Auction

Date: 28th May, 2021 9:30
Lots: 755

This auction saw strong bidding as usual from across the globe and in the saleroom. An early 20th century Aynsley tea for two set, with butterflies in relief, exceeded all expectations to sell for £2800 hammer. An unusual French ‘Adam and Eve’ casket is destined for its new home, having achieved £360. The hammer was brought down on a gorgeous Bechstein grand piano - which had delighted clients and staff alike during recitals (we mean, during viewing) - at £1600.

The next Antiques & Interiors Auction will take place on 11 June and entries are now invited. To consign to this auction, make an appointment to visit our Glasgow Galleries or contact our specialists by clicking this link and completing the short form.
