The Antiques & Interiors Auction

The Antiques & Interiors Auction

Date: 9th Jul, 2021 9:30
Lots: 637

The fortnightly eclectic auction drew bidders from around the UK and further afield, with over 92% of the 600 lots successfully finding buyers.

A Nautilus tea service made by the Possil factory in Glasgow, featured amongst the large and varied selection of ceramics on offer, selling for £380. The sale also included porcelain from Royal Worcester, Moorcroft, Poole and Royal Albert. A large private collection of Royal Doulton figures included many rare examples, one lot featuring a model of Vice Admiral Lord Nelson sold for £1000. The popularity of vinyl records continued with a group of Oasis LPs selling for £420, and the selection of garden furniture on offer saw a marble table and benches make £800. Mid-century furniture included a lounge suite in the manner of R.W. Toothill – the settee and armchair sold for £360.
