A RARE LENCI FIGURE BY HELEN KONIG SCAVINI

LA MODISTA - IL CAPPELLINO, A LENCI POTTERY FIGURE,
by Helen Konig Scavini, c.1933, modelled as a girl seated on a cylindrical column holding a bandbox in one hand and an apple in the other, with a dog at her feet, the girl wearing a black hat and orange/red dress with black detailing and a pair of orange and black heels, the bandbox in black with white polka dots, signed to underside 'Lenci Made in Italy, Torino XII Nc', 35.5cm high

Restoration to left foot.
Crack across bandbox.
Tiny chip to ear of dog.
Some light wear throughout and some minor imperfections. Some small chips to reverse. Some small marks to face of figure.
