JAPANESE SHITAN WOOD SHAKU-DOKEI CLOCK pillar wall clock, traditional wooden case, with detachable glazed hood, key drawer to base with key, the brass movement with turned baluster columns flanking the pierced and engraved front plate, with eleven movable (some seized) brass, shaped hour markers with Japanese numeral characters, powered by a lead weight, regulated with a short front-mounted pendulum, with mythical beast engraved to plate above, the case 47cm long
