KOBAYASHI KIYOCHIKA (JAPANESE 1847-1915) woodblock depicting three Japanese women from the Meiji period and a boy in Western dress, probably originally part of a triptych 36.5cm x 24.5cm Note: Kiyochika was a Ukiyo-e painter and printmaker. He studied Western painting under Charles Wirgman, Japanese painting with Kyosai and Zeshin and sought a fusion of East/West styles.
