Bewlay 's jars in fair condition being well worn, most noticeable to the gilt on the labelled examples *see images

 

FIVE ROYAL DOULTON ' BEWLEY'S' SHOP DISPLAY TOBACCO JARS early 20th Century, three branded for Bewlay's, four with metal lids, dark blue glaze with name in gilt banner, each 21.5cm high with impressed and painted marks to base; along with two early 20th century glass bottles, each of rectangular form, one with 'Coronation 1911', the other with a horseshoe (7)
