* RALSTON GUDGEON RSW (SCOTTISH 1910 - 1984), THE SCOTTISH WILDCAT gouache and watercolour on paper, signed 60cm x 50cm Framed and under glass. Note: This picture is believed to be one of only two examples of the Scottish Wildcat ever painted by Ralston Gudgeon and the other may well have been a study for this picture. It was a 28 x 25cm watercolour which sold at Christie's, London on 24th April 1998 lot 93 for £450 (hammer). (source Blouin Art Sales Index).
