* G W LENNOX PATERSON (1915 - 1986), THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLES full set of six artist proof woodblocks, all signed and titled in pencil to the margin., ''Ned Kelly Bush Ranger'', ''Edward Teach, Pirate'', ''The Wolf of Badenoch'', ''Dragut Race, Corsair'', ''Pizarro - Conquistador'', ''Butch Cassidy, Outlaw'', Each 15.4cm x 12.7cm. Mounted, framed and under glass as the set within one frame. Note: Lennox Patterson studied at Glasgow School of Art and later became a lecturer, then Deputy Director of the school. He was mostly known for his book illustrations which included Poetical Works by Robert Burns (Chambers, 1958). He also compiled two manuals: Scraperboard (Dryad, 1960) and Making a Colour Linocut (Dryad, 1963).
