Note: Studied at Edinburgh College of Art, and then Edinburgh University. Barrie exhibited in solo shows throughout the UK and her work is held in numerous public and private collections, most notably: HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Argyll and Bute Council, Art in Healthcare, Bangor University, Belfast, City of Edinburgh Council, Dundee Education Department, University of Edinburgh Fine Art Collection, Fife Council, Glasgow Museums, UK Government Art Collection, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Lillie Art Gallery, Paisley, Maggie’s, Highlands, North Lanarkshire Council Museums and Heritage Service, North Lincolnshire Museums Service, Royal Scottish Academy of Art & Architecture, The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation, The National Trust for Scotland.
