Scratches and nicks, small dents all consistent with age and use
Dent to case edge close to hinge 20mm long
Winds and ticks at present
Hands have not been set in house
Repeater function not working - button does not depress
Dial with dirt/dust, more to glass edge
Crown appears to be metal, not gold

the round white enamel dial signed M. J. Russell London, with Roman numerals in black, outer seconds track in black with Arabic numerals, gold leaf hands, centre seconds hand, 55mm case, with engraved monogram to the case front, full Chester hallmarks for 1899, 140g gross
