A GOOD AND EXTENSIVE VICTORIAN GAMES COMPENDIUM

VICTORIAN GAMES COMPENDIUM,
the coromandel and glazed case with hinged cover and two swing front panels enclosing fitted interior with small brass plaque reading 'The Royal Cabinet of Games', with pull out leather games board, white and red stained bone chess men, two lift out compartments containing playing cards, cribbage board with markers, bone dominoes, dice and draftsmen, the lower compartment with two turned wooden dice shakers, six newmarket horses with jockeys and two fences, a quantity of counters and the Guide to the Royal Cabinet of Games, 35cm wide

- Signs of wear consistent with age
- Scratches to case
- Some wear and colour loss to bone games pieces, fading present, some marks consistent with age
- Damage to one of the handles of one pull out compartment - leather handle detached but present
- All six horses present, wear and paint loss to each
- Additional photographs added showing the compendium contents and games board
