VICTORIAN SILVER MONTEITH
maker George Lambert for Lambert & Co., London 1893, Britannia Silver Standard marks, with fluted detail, with inscription in commemoration of the Incorporation of the Mercers Company 13 Jan 1394, the finials with cherubic faces and scroll detail, the handles attached with applied lions head motifs, raised on stepped circular foot with fluted detail, 21cm diameter, 15cm high, 875g, in oak case
