A GROUP OF ENAMELLED BROOCHES

DAVID ANDERSEN ENAMELLED BROOCH,
in the form of a yellow and brown enamelled bird upon a white and green enamelled tulip, along with a Norwegian blue enamelled leaf brooch, lacking makers mark, a blue enamelled bar brooch marked 925, S.G.G, N.M, a white and yellow enamelled daisy brooch, lacking makers mark and a blue butterfly brooch stamped VB, all items marked 925S (5)

 

Bidders must assume that diamonds and coloured gem stones (including ruby, emerald, sapphire, peridot, aquamarine) may have undergone a form of treatment unless otherwise stated. It should not be assumed that any diamond or coloured gem is untreated or is natural, unless accompanied by a gemmological laboratory certificate (which would be mentioned in the description). McTear’s will only describe gold/platinum/silver as such when a full UK standard set of hallmarks is present on the object. Other marks such as foreign import stamps will be noted in the description. As required by the Auctioneers Scheme, 20% vat will be applied to the hammer price on the sale of loose stones, which applies to diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires and those lots are marked with **.

Condition Report
Each in generally worn condition. 
Bird - good condition - no damage to the enamel. 57mm long. 
Blue bar - heavily scratched - some nicks to the enamel. 56mm long. 
Daisy - Good condition - possible restoration to a small section of the petal. 34mm wide. 
Blue leaves - chipped to the bottom of the main leaf. 60mm high.
Butterfly - Substance stuck to some of the butterflies. Some small nicks to the enamel. 30mm diameter. 
Each has the pin intact.
