VICTORIAN BRASS OIL LAMP,
the baluster glass shade engraved with scrolling foliage, interspersed with shells and acanthus leaves, the reservoir mounted with three dragon's heads with hoop handles, above three paw feet, on a circular base, 64cm high

Condition Report


  • Signs of wear consistent with age. Some discolouration and marks to the brass. Discolouration and wear to interior. 

  • The circular rim of the reservoir is misshapen and damaged - part has broken (see pictures). Some small dings and dents present to the reservoir. 

  • Some wear, marks and light clouding to glass chimney.

  • Glass shade with small nibbles to upper and lower rim. One section of upper rim has broken off and been glued back on, doesn't fit perfectly and glue residue visible. Some scratches, marks and residue to shade.
