ATTRACTIVE SILVER AND MESH OVAL EVENING PURSE WITH COMPACT,
the hinged cover with guilloche enamel panel decorated with a dragonfly and bamboo, Japanese inscription to the side, with central chain carrying handle, the gilt interior with engine turned mirrored compact compartment, hallmarked London 1925, maker George Stockwell

Condition Report
Condition generally good to fair. Surface wear throughout commensurate with use and age. Enamel intact, though slight discolouration to upper left hand side. Catch works, though slight unevenness of pin suggest possible restoration of catch. Interior with wear to gilt wash. Mirror hinge generally fine, mirror clear too. Purse mesh generally good.
