The Megalodon (literally translating to ‘large tooth’) was the largest shark to have existed, growing to lengths of 18 metres.
They swam the oceans for around 20 million years, until becoming extinct 3.6 million years ago.
With skeletal remains being highly rare, their teeth present an invaluable source of research, as well as curious decorative reminders of one of the biggest and most treacherous creatures of the deep.
A condition report is offered as an indication of any issues visible to the naked eye. As none of our staff is a professional conservator or restorer, buyers must satisfy themselves in respect of condition.
