19th century, formed from a gourd with ivory rim and associated pierced cover bearing green stained lotus motif, the gourd body with faintly incised landscape detail, 10cm high, together with a miniature ivory carving of two figures on fitted hardwood stand, 4.6cm high overall (2)

Condition Report
Stains and residue present throughout the piece, cracking to the ivory rim of the cage. The lid is held on with blue tac.
