LATE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY DIAMOND CLUSTER RING,
the round bezel set with old cushion cut diamonds totalling very approximately 0.30 carats, on bifurcated shoulders, one with overlaid detail, the other lacking, with floral motifs below, unmarked, 2.8g

It should not be assumed that any diamond or coloured gem is untreated or is natural, unless accompanied by a gemmological laboratory certificate (which would be mentioned in the description). Centre stone – 4mm diameter.
Shank is heavily misshapen.
One small stone has a large chip out of it.
Small chips and general abrasions present on the surface of all stones.
To the naked eye:
Diamonds are mid to dark grey in colour.
Black inclusions present in each of the stones.
Centre stone has visible white cleavage inclusions.
Under magnification:
Further black and white inclusions visible throughout the stones.
All stones intact.
