A LATE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK

LATE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK,
with three train movement, the brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic numeral chapter ring, with subsidiary seconds dial and painted calendar lunette, the pillared broken hood with broken swan neck pediment above reverse painted glass panels, the pillared trunk with blind fretted frieze above a block base, on ogee bracket feet, 232cm high

Striking on eight bells.
Image of mechanism now available.
Condition good to fair, the gilt columns have been repainted to their capitals. Missing finials. Bracket feet available for reattachment. Cannot confirm working order, with pendulum and one weight.
Dial 49.5cm high to lunette, 39cm wide.
Bracket feet are original (though will need attached), and these are 6cm high. The longcase is 238cm overall (including feet).
