RARE CHINESE CANTONESE PLATE
EARLY 19TH CENTURY C.1840

decorated with a vibrant Rose Mandarin scene, depicting a dominant figure, confiding with the other figures over a scroll, surrounded by a censor with smoke, a tea pot and vases of flowers, along with several borders depicting ribbons, peonies, flowers and birds, all with rich gilding

In overall good condition. Some loss of gilding to the rim. Several flea bites to the rim. Minor fading to some of the paintwork. Additional photos now available.
