LATE 19TH CENTURY BLACK SLATE MANTEL CLOCK,
the two train eight day movement by W.C. Shaw of Paris, visible escapement, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary day and calendar dials, the gilded face engraved with scrolls, in a shaped architectural case, 34.7cm wide

Condition Report
Condition good to fair. The case has half a dozen light to medium chips, and wear commensurate with age - could do with a clean.
The pendulum and Bob have become separated, the Bob is accessible though the pendulum is stuck within the bottom of the case. Unable to test mechanism. Also bell screw is stuck.
