Note: Helen Flockhart is a painter born in Hamilton, Scotland in1963. She studied drawing and painting at Glasgow School of Art from 1980-85 and continues to live and work in Glasgow today. She also studied at the PWSSP in Poznan, Poland (1985-6), having been awarded a British Council Scholarship, gained a grant from the Pollock-Kasner Foundation 1992 and won First Prize in the Noble Grossart Painting Prize 2000.
