Scuffs, scrapes and general wear, visible staining to canopy, some fraying and general tiredness to fabric, chips to carved detail on left side, colour differentiation, visible wear to gilt finials, we suggest that there was something mounted or attached to the front which is now lo longer with the bed hence the somewhat rough finish and exposed bolts and screws to the lower section of the footboard, see images for overview of condition
