LATE QING DYNASTY/EARLY 20TH CENTURY

the pediment carved and pierced with fruiting foliage over a simulated bamboo frame formed with a glazed door flanked by glazed angled side panels, the door enclosing three shelves, the base with carved and pierced apron, with understage and on cabriole legs

Slightly loose construction but stable; a few splits to pierced gallery, some pronounced wear and hairlines to corners of gallery; glass intact although likely replacement; small break apron left side, small loss aprons front, old splits and repairs above rear right support, similar but less so to rear left; gap between lower front left support and front of under tier, thiswith small losses at front; sporadic old repairs, in-fills etc but no major issues apparent; gallery slightly raised/warped at rear ends; general wear commensurate with age and use; additional images available
