ART DECO COLD PAINTED BRONZE FIGURE
CIRCA 1920'S

modelled as a dancer with carved ivory face over parcel gilt and silvered body, signed to underside of skirt R.Lor, possibly for Josef Lorenzl, on onyx socle base

This lot contains elephant ivory material. Several countries, including in the EU and USA, prohibit the importation of ivory items unless under specific conditions. Prospective buyers should familiarise themselves with the relevant customs regulations of their country and ensure they are able to import this item prior to bidding.

Condition Report

Overall, the figure is in good condition. The base shows no signs of cracking or chipping. The bronze figure is in good condtion, showing some signs of pink oxidation to the skirt/body. The head moves slightly, but is not chipped in any places. Additional images are now available, including a final image of the signature.
