late 19th century, decorated with seven sages in bamboo grove, signed to reverse, 21cm diameter, together with a Chinese canton-enamel brush washer of bat form, with further floral sprays, 11.3cm wide (2)

Kutani dish with small hairline to reverse, some rubbing to enamels, crazed; brush washer with relatively small enamel loss to rim, some possible patches of restoration or more likely natural discolouration; further light general wear and pitting, rim slightly knocked and depressed in areas; additional images available
