Provenance: Property of Lady Goodwin.
Note: Born in Edinburgh, Charlotte was the sixth daughter of Alexander Nasmyth. Taught by her father, she exhibited widely including the Royal Scottish Academy, the Royal Academy (London) and the Royal Society of British Artists. Charlotte's work is held in the Scottish National Gallery, the British Museum, The National Trust for Scotland, and the University of Dundee Fine Art Collections.
