LIMED OAK BEDSTEAD OF GOTHIC DESIGN,
the bed of large proportions with the headboard with central carved coat of arms flanked by two panels to each side carved with gothic tracery within octagonal posts carved with spirals of leaves and acorns, with similarly carved side rails and footboard, 190cm wide, 234cm long (maximum sizes)

Condition Report
The current owner, or before, has added brackets to the corners to reinforce the structure. When putting this piece together, our staff used brackets that are only intended temporary though it is quite solid. It would be recommended to add further brackets for longevity- it wouldn't be difficult. This would take a mattress up to approximately 170cm wide, 200cm long.
No evidence of any worming or rot.
