The inkstand is in good to fair overall condition with some signs of wear consistent with age throughout. Some marks and scratches. Some discolouration to metal mounts and some small pit marks to metal. Indent where bell has hit.

the body formed of horn, the white metal tail mounted with bell, white metal fin, head and fitted inkpot, the oblong oak base with pen groove and mounts for holding mallet (lacking), 33.5cm high
