AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD

EARLY 20TH CENTURY OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD,
the fullered blade etched with scrolls and foliage, with 'Royal Artillery' to one side and George VI marks to the other, the silvered hilt with wire bound chagrin grip, 102cm long, with original scabbard and frog

Provenance: formerly the property Major John Williamson, Royal Artillery, serving between 1939-47. Major Williamson saw action in Greece, Italy, amongst other places.
