AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY JAPANESE LARGE HEXAGONAL VASE AND COVER,
decorated with alternate river landscape and still life panels, with a wide continuous river landscape with figures beneath, the domed cover with shishi finial, 84cm high

Vase lid interior chipped, cracked and damaged in areas; finial with encrusted dust and dirt; pronounced crazing; chips to rim top, chip to neck, neck has either been off or nearly off, there are two cracks running around the majority of joint between neck and shoulder, a further hairline running down lower third of body, rubbing to decoration, imperfections, inclusions and further general wear, discoloured or repaired patch to body, further hairlines to base, additional images available
