Note: Harry Gaydon (1895-1958) owned two international 12-foot Dinghies, YWURRY and IWUNDA. A member of the Royal Burnham Yacht Club, Harry Gaydon there earned the rather incredible moniker “King of the Dinghies”. This Burnham Yacht Club International Challenge Cup trophy was won by the 12ft Dinghy IWUNDA in 1923, and was awarded by Harry Gaydon's father, Alfred Gaydon.
Provenance: Lots 1712-1715 are offered for sale on behalf of the grandson of Harry Gaydon.
