IRISH INTERMEDIARY FOOTBALL LEAGUE - MCELROY CUP MEDAL, 1927/28
the obverse with competition inscription within a quatrefoil and shamrock border, the reverse inscribed 'W.F.C., R. Young, 1927-28', 38mm to bale, maker SDN, in nine carat gold, 5.8g

Note: The Irish Intermediate League was a Northern Irish football competition for teams of intermediate status, which also included reserve sides of senior teams. The league ran from 1915 until 1954, with a cup tournament running simultaneously.
