RENFREWSHIRE CUP WINNERS MEDAL 1962/63,
awarded to J. Lang of St. Mirren F.C., the obverse enamel Renfrewshire coat of arms within a blue border inscribed 'Renfrewshire Football Association', the reverse inscribed 'Won by St. Mirren F.C. 1962-63, J. Lang', 45mm high including bale, maker V&S, in sterling silver, 12.6g

Note: First contested in 1878, and last in 2014, the Renfrewshire Cup was a tournament contested by teams in Renfrewshire, most notably St Mirren and Morton, who have won the tournament 55 times and 52 times respectively. This silver medal was awarded for Renfrewshire Cup 1962/63. The final took place in May 1963 with St Mirren and Morton coming head to head across two legs. Whilst Morton won the first leg 1-0, the second leg saw St Mirren snatch victory from the Greenock side, with a 2-0 win on 22 May.
