1939 SCOTTISH JUNIOR LEAGUE CUP WINNERS GOLD MEDAL,
the obverse with two enameled shields bearing Union Jack flag and lion rampant motifs, the reverse inscribed 'Scottish League Cup Wnrs. Dunipace Jrs. A. Turnbull 1938-39.', 38mm high, maker J. McM, in nine carat gold, 6.9g

Note from the vendor: A.W. Turnbull served as a corporeal in the Argylls, but was killed in action at El Alemain North Africa aged 23, October/November 1942. Powerfully built, he played in the half back line for Stirlingshire side Dunipace Juniors F. C.
