VICTORIAN BETJEMANN'S PATENT THREE-BOTTLE TANTALUS,
in oak with silver-plated mounts, the hinged mechanism stamped with maker's marks, fitted with three diamond and hobnail cut mallet-shaped decanters, each with faceted stopper, 30.8cm wide

Condition Report

Condition good to fair. The key is missing, though it is unlocked, so hinged mechanism still functions. Bleeding to silver plate on the hinged mechanism so brass shows trough in some areas. Decanters without cracks, though with chips and minor nibbles present, including to the three to the rim of one, one to the base of another, and minor nibbles including to the stopper bases of each.
