T. B. SMITH (SCOTTISH fl. 1918 - 1937), ON THE ANTRIM COAST oil on panel, signed 33cm x 43cm Framed and under glass Label verso: Paisley Art Institute Annual Exhibition, 1939. Cat. No. 500 Note: T.B Smith Exhibited 1918-1937 at The Glasgow Institute, The Royal Scottish Academy and The Walker Gallery, Liverpool. The artist lived in Paisley and later in Glasgow. His work rarely appears at auction but examples have been sold by Sotheby's and Chrsitie's including ''Giants Causeway, Co Antrim. Amidst Whistling Winds and Raging Seas'' a 7 x 9 inch oil on board, lot 204, 15th May 2003 at Christie's South Kensington, The Irish Sale for £800 (hammer).
