AN EDWARDIAN SILVER THREE PIECE TEA SERVICE

EDWARDIAN SILVER THREE PIECE TEA SERVICE,
maker George David Rattray, Glasgow 1906, comprising teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each of bulbous form, with scroll and foliate cast rim, the body embossed with a band of scroll work interspersed with two blank shield shaped cartouches, on four acanthus bracket feet, the teapot 15.5cm high, 1462g gross

Condition Report

- Fair to good condition generally, with some signs of wear consistent with age. Some tarnishing and dulling throughout each piece. Scratches and marks present. Hairline cracks to bands on teapot handle (pictured). Teapot interior darkened with use. Wobble to cream jug. Both handles of sugar bowl look to have been resoldered and silver slightly paler at point of repair.
