INTERESTING WWI 'SECRET' TRENCH MAP

1:5000 Scale relating to the Capture of La Boiselle, 1-6 th July 1916. Battle Albert was the name given by the British to the first two weeks of the Battle of the Somme. Ovillers-la-Boiselle is located 22 miles (35km.) north east of Amiens. 11,000 casualties were recorded during this engagement. Interestingly most of the place and 'street' names are Scottish, on very fine linen, unframed
