General light surface wear, nicks, marks, etc, some rubbing to gilt, some small casting flaws, slight discolouration and rough finishing to stem of lid finial, additional images now available

 

GEORGE V SILVER GILT PORRINGER AND COVER,
maker Brooks & Son, Edinburgh 1931, the embossed domed cover with bud finial and with presentation inscription dated 1932 to rim, the porringer with twin scroll handles, embossed with an upper band of scrolling foliage interspersed by flowerheads, and a lower band of upward pointing acanthus leaves, on a stepped foot, 17cm high, 734g
