PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER CANDLE SNUFFER SCISSORS AND STAND,
maker Emes & Barnard, London circa 1810-19, the scissors with shell cast handles within gadrooned borders, on three peg feet, the oblong stand with twin shell and foliate cast handles and gadrooned borders, central initial engraved cartouche, the tray 25.1cm wide, 395g gross

Condition Report

- Good condition overall, each with some signs of wear consistent with age including scratches and sections of tarnishing/discolouration. 


- The snuffer scissor blade appears to function as intended, raising as scissors close then snapping down. 


- Only the stand has full hallmarks, the scissors have maker and standard mark
