maker Mappin & Webb, London 1920, of oblong form, engine turned exterior, the hinged cover with central initialled oblong cartouche, lined interior, beaded borders, 15cm wide

Condition Report
Rubbing to marks, some knocks and dents, slight lifting to the silver of one corner of lid, small split to one corner underside, further knocks to silver at base, scratches, nicks and tarnish, initialled S.S to lid, wood dry with some chips and graphite markings where pencils might have been stored, lid closes flush apart from the one corner previously mentioned, see website for additional images
