comprising a necklace set with an oval ruby 8mm long within an openwork heart, with two suspended spherical pearls and further pearls set to the chain, marked 9ct tot the clasp, a pearl and ruby bracelet, the S shaped sections set with a round ruby and spherical pearl, unmarked, a ring set with a marquise ruby 8.6mm long flanked by two spherical pearls, in eighteen carat gold, size M 1/2, and a pair of earrings, the square bezel set with a spherical pearl, flanked by four small rubies, unmarked, 46.6g gross

It should not be assumed that any diamond or coloured gem is untreated or is natural, unless accompanied by a gemmological laboratory certificate (which would be mentioned in the description). As required by the Auctioneers Scheme, 20% vat will be applied to the hammer price on the sale of loose stones, which applies to diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires and those lots are marked with **.
