the oval sapphire flanked by two round brilliant cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.60 carats, marked 18CT, size K, 2.4g

It should not be assumed that any diamond or coloured gem is untreated or is natural, unless accompanied by a gemmological laboratory certificate (which would be mentioned in the description).
