PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER MOUNTED CUT GLASS SCENT BOTTLES,
the silver mounts by John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham, 1889, each hinged cover with central initialled cartouche, embossed with a band of foliage over a lower gadrooned band, the flattened ovoid body cut with hobnails, star cut foot, original glass stoppers, 13cm diameter

Condition Report
Stoppers present and are a good fit, appear original, one stopper handle chipped and both with flea bites; one lid closes flush, the other slightly sprung; lid which closes flush with hole; both rims with nicks and scratches; both hinges fine, one lid feels slightly loose; numerous chips and losses to bodies of both with further fritting, nibbles and flea bites; both tops initialled
